Object Material
(Note: in Blender, this is referred to as a 'Material Output'.)
For the Material Settings tab in this material, please see the Cycles 4D Materials page.
This is the standard material you will use most often, because it is the material intended to be applied to scene objects. This includes particles and splines, as well as mesh objects. The default material is simply a Principled BSDF node linked to an Output node.
Note that applying this material to a light (an actual light, that is, not a mesh light) will have no effect; nor will it have any effect if applied to the cyEnvironment object. However, if you want to create a light from a mesh or a spline, you must use this material, with an emission shader to control the light emission.
Other than that, there is little to say about this material.
