Converter: Wavelength
Node Interface
Example Output
This model is made up of several parts. The Wavelength node is used to assign a different colour to each part using an Object Info node to generate a random number then inputting this into the Wavelength input. The node tree looks like this:
Overview
Function | Output a colour derived from a wavelength of light |
Nearest C4D equivalent | None |
This node accepts a wavelength input and outputs a colour which is the colour of light at that wavelength.
Settings
Note: a * symbol next to the name indicates the parameter also has an input port. A # symbol indicates that the parameter can only be changed with an input node, not in the node itself.
Wavelength *
The wavelength in nanometers. The range is that of visible light, 380 to 780 nanometers.
Output
Color
The colour derived from the wavelength.
