Compatibility

The minimum software requirements for the Premium Training videos are Cinema 4D version R16 and X-Particles build 642. If you use Cycles 4D, the minimum build required is 321.

We recommend Cinema 4D R20 and X-Particles build 724 or above because some of the effects demonstrated use newer features, however if you have previous versions/builds, the same effects can be achieved with alternative techniques. We recommend Cycles 4D build 353.

Create the illusion of a logo form by reversing a particle simulation using the xpHistory Modifier.

Set up xpFlowField objects to organically explode logo particles.

Artistically control and blend particle colour using the xpInherit Modifier. 

03 Streams

Build a spiralling particle animation to drive scene trails.

Utilise spline settings within the xpFlowField object to direct particle motion.

Generate Trails and blend their path with the logo outline.

Apply the spiral xpFlowFields to the particle explosion simulation for a unified look.

04 Tweaks & Rendering
