INSYDIUM Fused 2025.4.1 Service Update
This release delivers 9 improvements and over 60 bug fixes across NeXus, Jidou, MeshTools, Taiao, and X-Particles.
- NeXus Build 514
- Jidou Build 31
- MeshTools Build 270
- Taiao Build 349
- X-Particles Build 1875
What's New & Improved
Jidou
- jdGeoFlow Track Display: The jdGeoFlow timeline now shows dedicated track display changes, making it much easier to read and manage complex animated geometry flows at a glance.
- jdFlowCam Loop Options: jdFlowCam gains stop, loop, ping-pong and continue playback modes, giving you full control over how your camera paths play back and cycle.
- jdGeoFlow Playback Modes: jdGeoFlow picks up the same suite of loop options (stop, loop, ping-pong and continue), making cyclic geometry animations straightforward to set up and art-direct.
- Timeline Gridline Spacing: A minimum gridline spacing has been introduced to prevent the timeline from flooding with lines on very large frame ranges, keeping your workspace clean and readable.
MeshTools
- N-Gon Support for mtEdgeSpine: mtEdgeSpine now handles n-gons natively, removing a long-standing limitation and letting you work with a wider range of mesh topologies without manual cleanup.
INSYDIUM Fused
- Licensing: Licensing now includes multiple automatic fallbacks to ensure continued access in the rare event of a primary server outage.
NeXus
- FLIP/APIC Density Color: Particle color can now be driven by the number of particles per voxel in FLIP and APIC simulations. This gives you a clear visual read of simulation quality and opens up density-driven color effects across modifiers and nxQuestion.
- nxExplosiaFX Particle Advection: Boundary condition handling when transferring properties to advected particles has been significantly refined, producing smoother, more accurate results at the edges of your simulation domain.
- Faster Ray Marching: Light tracing in both the EFX DirectX 12 and EFX Metal Ray Marchers has been accelerated, meaning volumetric renders complete faster without sacrificing quality.
