Shader Operator example with a ‘Galaxy’ shader

The Shader Operator lets you generate a height field based on any texture or C4D channel shader that works in UV space (e.g. Bitmap shader, Noise shader, all shaders in the ‘Surfaces’ group, as well as Fusion and Layer shader).

Shader

Create a shader here to have it sampled and turned into a terrain height field.

Invert

Enable this to invert the height field of the Shader Operator.

Tile

By default, the shader will not repeat. Enable this to have the shader repeat endlessly.

Seamless

If you have ‘Tile’ enabled, this option will mirror the tiles.

Offset U/V

Offsets the shader along U and V

Length U/V

Scales the shader along U and V.
